The metal band “Contra” from the Ruhr area wanted a new video. The budget was thanklessly low to non-existent. We took the camera in hand and filmed the band scenes in the darkened rehearsal room, the outdoor shots were taken on a castle ruin. I wanted the atmosphere to be dark and mysterious in the end, so I decided to use a dark duplex colorgrading.
